Sausage Egg Casserole


  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 slices white bread cubed
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 lb. mild bulk sausage
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp. salt


  1. Brown sausage, cool and crumble into mixing bowl.

  2. In a separate bowl, beat eggs; add milk, salt, mustard and bread cubes. Stir and add cheese and sausage.

  3. Put into greased, 8” x 12” glass baking dish.

  4. Refrigerate overnight.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

This is great for guest breakfast as it makes a good one with fruit or juice and coffee and you can set table, etc. while it is cooking.
