Peach Cobbler


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 large can (29 oz.) of sliced peaches

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Melt butter in 9” x 13” Pyrex dish.

  3. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and then add milk.

  4. Pour the batter into the Pyrex dish with the melted butter.

  5. Pour peaches and juice over batter. Sprinkle extra 3/4 cup sugar and nutmeg on top.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool and serve with ice cream.
