Lemon Chicken


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 Tbs. shortening
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed tarragon leaves
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown chicken.

  2. Remove chicken from pan and pour off fat. In the same pan, combine remaining ingredients.

  3. Return chicken to skillet, cover, cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender.
