Chili


Ingredients

  • 2 cans kidney beans (rinsed)
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2-3 Tbs. chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with onion.

  2. Drain grease.

  3. Add diced tomatoes.

  4. Cut up with spatula.

  5. Add other ingredients plus 2 tomato paste cans of water.

  6. Simmer 20 minutes. Freeze for up to 6 months.

Cathy's mom, Judy, would make this all the time when Cathy was growing up.
